Simply screw the Somfy lamp holder into a large socket (E27) and place a regular lamp in it. Then pair the lamp holder with a Somfy RTS remote control or the Somfy TaHoma switch to control it remotely or via the TaHoma app.

With a Somfy RTS remote control, you can decide whether the light should be on or off from the comfort of your sofa. Do you have a Somfy TaHoma switch? Integrate the lamp holder into the TaHoma app and control your lamp remotely via your smartphone or tablet.
Secure Timer
In combination with the TaHoma switch, you can use the timer function, for example, if you are away for an extended period. This way, the on and off switching of the lamp makes it seem like someone is home, providing extra security.
