Shipping & Delivery

Standard shipping is free on all orders. Within UK Mainland, we will endeavour to deliver orders placed before 12pm, within 5 working days. Orders placed before 12pm with a delivery address outside of UK Mainland will be delivered within 7 working days. Should there be a reason that the product you ordered is not available, we will let you know within 1 working day from the moment you ordered. A tracking reference number is assigned to your order and sent to your contact email address, to allow you to track the progress of your order.

Orders placed after 12pm will be subject to a +24 hour time-frame relative to the standard delivery information above.

 

Returns, Replacement & Cooling-off period

E-commerce regulations allow for a cooling-off period of 14 days from the date you purchased a product online. This 14 day cooling-off period does not apply for products that made or altered according to specification that you supplied. Products returned to us during the 14 day cooling-off period will be refunded to you within 30 days after we received the product in our warehouse. Please be aware that products need to be in original condition and packaging preferably in tact.  To return a product please contact our customer service; they will guide you through the return process. Warranty

Apart from the statutory warranty * products purchased from shop.somfy.co.uk after the 01/01/2020 have a 5 year warranty from date of purchase. Products bought before this date have a 2 year warranty

* Legal guarantee means that you are entitled to a properly working product; i.e. what a product must do what a consumer can expect reasonably from. 

 

Complaints

We aim to provide you the best service possible. However in case of complaints of our products or services, please contact our customer service by sending an email to sales.uk@somfy.com and you will receive an answer within 1 working day. It is also possible to contact us by telephone on weekdays from 9.00 till 17.00 at 020 3833 0900.

 

Ordering

Ordering at Somfy Shop is easy! Follow these six steps to select and purchase a product from the catalogue:
Step 1: Choose a category such as “Controls”, “Lighting & Switches” or “Sensors & Surveillance”. You choose a category by clicking on the category name in the main menu which will open the corresponding page.
Step 2: Filter the products per category. To the left of the category page is the ability to refine the selection of products shown for example, the type of product, or product’s technology. The products that meet these criteria will be shown. You can remove the filter by clicking on “Remove This Item” next to the filter.
Step 3: When you see the product of your choice you can click on the image or the product name to open the product information. Here the product of your choice is displayed including pictures, a name, a price, short description, long description, specifications and product manual. The product page also shows suggestions of other relevant products that are often purchased in conjunction with the selected product.
Step 4: Click the button “Add to Cart” and you are redirected to the Shopping Cart page. The Cart icon will show how many products you have added to your Cart. From here you can view, amend item quantities or remove any items you have added to your Cart.
Step 5: If you wish to continue shopping, click the “Continue Shopping” button. If you are ready to complete your order, click “Checkout Securely”. Select “Checkout as Guest”, or select “Register and Checkout” to have your details stored with our store for convenient future purchases. Click “Continue” and enter your billing and shipping address details.
Step 6: Select your payment method and click “Continue” to be redirected to the payment page. Once you have entered your payment details and submitted the information, confirmation of your order will be displayed on-screen and you will receive the order confirmation via email along with the order invoice. If you have registered your details, you can view the progress of your order at shop.somfy.co.uk.

 

Prices and Offers 

All prices are including 20% VAT. You pay no extra charges for shipping. All offers and promotions are subject to the same conditions as other products from Somfy shop, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Payment options 

For payment we cooperate with Adyen Payment Services. The internationally recognised payment service provider shall ensure that all payments are secure and reliable. In Somfy shop you can choose from several payment options:

  • Pay by Credit Card
    With us you can pay easily and securely with a credit card. We accept Master Card and Visa. If you choose a credit card payment you will be redirected to the secure payment page of Adyen. Because most products are made to the amount of the credit will be credited to size when you place order final. When a return is the amount will be credited to your credit card account.The credit card information is encrypted using the SSL method. This high security standard is buying with a credit card safe with Somfy shop.
  • Pay with Paypal
    With us you can also pay via PayPal. If you choose to pay with PayPal, you will be sent directly to confirm your order to the PayPal website.If you are already registered with PayPal can confirm login with your username and payment. If you are new to PayPal, you can also log in as a guest yourself or open a PayPal account and confirm the payment. At the time of attaching an authorization will be performed from your PayPal account, the order will be processed immediately and the outstanding amount will be credited directly to your PayPal account.

 

View Order Status 

Through the ‘My Account’ page, you can track the status of your order. Detailed information about the shipment of your order will be sent by the courier, in most cases UPS. You will receive an e-mail with a link to the tracking page where you can track the shipment.

Customizing Account Information 

On the My Account page, you can change your personal information. These institutions newsletter, contact information, product reviews and more. Note that you can not edit information of your order via the ‘My Account’ page, such as your billing or shipping address. Please contact our customer service.
